Frameworks

The same resource runs on all four frameworks. Detection is automatic, and an owner can force a choice from the admin settings.

ESX	the es_extended resource

Detection looks for the resource at all, not only when it has started, so ensure order cannot hide a framework.

If a framework cannot do something a resource asks for, the call returns nil and a reason instead of raising an error, and the resource degrades gracefully.
